If you want to stay for a while, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area has three campgrounds that are located around the 36-mile shoreline and reach into a black jack oak forest with natural springs and a partial prairie. Sites accommodate RVs, trailers and tents and are conveniently located near docks, boat ramps and water activities.
