The Guy Sandy Campground overlooks the west side of the lake. It has 40 primitive campsites with potable water from spigots and pit toilets. First come, first served. Arrive at any time and pay at the drop box at the front of the campground. Be sure to put the receipt on your dashboard, or you’ll be awakened very early in the morning by a ranger! Amenities are few, but the sites are large enough for all sizes of rigs or tents. You might even score a nice level site with grass and your own picnic table and fire ring.
Just so you know per all campgrounds:
There are no sewer hook-ups.
The dump station is on Buckhorn Road just outside the campground.
The showers are in the restrooms that have flush toilets (all handicapped accessible).
